In 2012 I vow to be a better blogger. Yes, I realize that the last post in here is January of 2011 vowing to do the same thing. But this year I mean it! You (yes YOU) are so important to me and my business that I want to be able to connect with you in anyway possible. Even if that means writing when I don't want to write. Everytime I open my blog I groan, that is until I start writing about my amazing clients! If it weren't for you I wouldn't have even thought about a blog. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have been named in the Bride's Choice Awards of wedding wire. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have a job I truly love doing!
Now that I have blubbered over you guys for the past few minutes I am going to post my first session of 2012. After this I will post every single session in every single year to follow. I promise!
Thank you for getting my business off the ground! I couldn't have done it without you!
Amit and Lee are just 2 examples of people I love. This session was a blast and I can't wait to meet baby Arya in a few weeks!

First Session of 2011!
This past Sunday I went to Flyers Skate Zone with my friend from high school, Natasha, to take some photos. Her friend Christina came along and we really had a great time. I always like doing these sessions because it's a nice change. I love capturing love at a wedding and I really love seeing babies grow up through my images, but doing senior sessions, pin-up sessions, and other things of that nature are a new challenge for me. I'm forced to dig deeper for creativity, I love that. I'm sure hearing all the teenage boys screaming Firework by Katy Perry in the locker room next to us aided in my creativity for sure! :)
On to the photos. Natasha was so easy to photograph, for one she's gorgeous, but most of all I love her hair! She probably thinks I'm a big creep because of how many times I told her this, but I'm just expressive Tash! Everyone's always a little nervous at first with a camera in front of them, once she warmed up Natasha was a blast and I got some great images!
Like I said, we laughed a lot!
Thanks for asking me to do your session Natasha! It was great to see you :) xoxo

2010
2010 was my first year working as a photographer for more than just the fun of it. Since May my business has sky-rocketed and I can't thank my clients enough. I'm still not where I hope to end up and I have a lot of knowledge to learn but I love the steps it's taking to get there. I've been thankful enough to work as a second shooter for Denise Mabilog who has taught me so much and I've become so much more confident in myself and my work since working beside her.
In 2010 I didn't blog near as much as I should. One of my many resolutions is to be a better blogger in 2011 and to start I'm posting a video below of ever session from last year. I've included a few of the weddings I second shot as well as the rest of my work from this year. It was hard to choose which photos to use but I did it! Take a look and you'll probably see yourself! I've seen a lot of my clients move through their first years of life and I'm so thankful for that. Now you can see it too :)
Enjoy!

Gianna Turns One!
This week I had a session with Gianna and her mommy Kate who owns Baby G Bowtique and makes adorable accessories for little girls! Gianna just turned one and I was lucky enough to capture all of this cuteness!
Thanks Kate for having me do Gianna's birthday session, I had a blast and she is too pretty!
I'm pretty sure this is the best idea ever.
I don't know why but I really love this picture.
Right before I left I gave Gianna my sunglasses to wear. That little tiny nose is to die for! And I also learned a one year old definitely has a stronger grip than me. I almost got sent home without glasses!

2010 SESSIONS
This week will be the last week able to book for a 2010 session. December has filled up very quickly as well as November. NEXT SUNDAY 11/14/2010 will be the deadline for booking 2010 along with the pricing that is available right now. I cannot believe my first year in business has been as successful as it has. I am so blessed to have each and every one of you as clients! I will be changing my set up slightly and I hope all of my clients continue to think of me when they need photos done.
Spread the word about 11/14/2010 being the last day to book for this year and spread the word if one of your friends had mentioned needing to book a holiday session!
Stay turned for new pricing and packages to follow!
What good is a post without a photo? Sneak peak for the session I will be posting later this evening. Gianna is one!

Misty & Dave are Married! -- West Virginia Wedding
Last weekend my family and I drove to West Virginia for my cousin Dave and his new wife Misty's wedding. This is the first wedding I was lucky enough to both shoot and be a guest at. I loved being able to see my family and capture everything during Dave and Misty's day.
Prepare yourselves for a TON of photos!
The ceremony took place right in the center of town in Huntington and I loved it! Cars were driving by slowly (even the occasional homeless man stopped by for the action!) :)
Misty with her son Josh and Dave with his son Vinnie
The second I saw this wall at the rehearsal I knew I would be shooting a ton there!
After we took photos we headed to Heritage Farm Museum for the reception and I fell in love with the whole place! It was perfect, and if I lived in West Virginia I would have picked it for my own wedding venue and I'd stick a huge tent there!
When I saw this frame I got pretty choked up. Memories of my great Gram (top left) came rushing back to me so quickly. I miss you like crazy Gram! My aunt and Uncle (top right) are also very missed.
This was the first wedding Ryan ever got to see me in action at! Also, 6 month old Owen made it to the party as well!
The bridesmaid toast seemed to make everyone cry!
Dave and Misty danced to a Beatles medley for their first dance which included In My Life, Stand By Me, and When I'm 64.
I must say Misty and her son Josh's performance of Baby Got Back had to be the best dance of the night.
Dave and Misty-- I'm so happy for the two of you. I wish you all the laughter and happiness in the world. Thanks for inviting me to be such a big party of your day! Love you both xoxo
